The holiday season is full of family gatherings, parties, delicious food, and awesome moments that we really want to be present in. But these scenarios can make sticking to our fitness goals seem really hard. Well, I’m here to tell you that one meal or one day will not undo all of your hard work!
 
Holidays are much more than food. They’re about the quality time with our loved ones. Focus on the experience. Most importantly, practice self compassion and let go of the guilt if you do overindulge. You’re human. It’s ok. It’s part of the journey.
 
To prepare yourself for the holiday season, I challenge you to get a sticky note and write, “One day will not derail my progress.” Stick this note on your mirror or somewhere you are guaranteed to see it every day! Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out. Don’t let one day hold you back.
